Bhanu Swamy, M.D.

Dr. Swamy is a board certified internal medicine physician. She was born and raised in Michigan and attended Michigan State University for her undergraduate studies. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Trinity Health Ann Arbor. Since completing her residency, she has been in practice as a Clinical Instructor at The University of Michigan followed by a position as a Staff Physician/Clinical Assistant Professor at Cleveland Clinic/Case Western Reserve University. While there, she was involved in full time patient care, resident teaching, and scholarly activities.

Her clinical interests include preventative, geriatric and primary care. In addition, she is passionate about managing chronic medical conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, weight management. She practices a patient-centered, evidence based approach and believes in shared clinical decision making. During her free time, Dr. Swamy enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, traveling, home improvement, and trying new restaurants.
