ABOUT Faris Hannoodi, M.D.

Dr. Hannoodi is a board certified internal medicine physician. He earned his medical degree from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic in 2011 where he received scholarships for high achievements. He worked in the United Kingdom, where he grew up before moving to the United States to pursue internal medicine. Dr Hannoodi completed his internal medicine residency at Wayne State School of Medicine in 2018. His literary work spanned various areas in internal medicine and included research and several publications.

His professional journey has taken him across different regions in the states, from Michigan to Tennessee to Pennsylvania. He practiced hospital medicine in underserved areas and in the process took leadership roles chairing hospital committees. Dr Hannoodi also took a role as an educator by mentoring medical students.
He is now focused on preventive medicine and minor procedures. His interests include obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol as well as a wide variety of conditions in preventive care. His mantra is “the body enables the mind, so take care of it”. Outside of medicine, his interests are exercising, hiking, cycling, exploring national parks and learning golf.
